Dear Dr. Johnson,
 
I am not only relieved and so very pleased, but also amazed with the results of having you remove the amalgam/metals from my mouth.  Over the past 20-plus years, I have been plagued wtih sinus issues, including increased infections and sinus headaches that progressively became worse in their severity to the point of being classified as sinus migraines.  Initially I only had headaches with very severe weather changes that morphed to having them with all weather changes.  The pain scale of these headaches prior to seeing you ranged from pain levels of 6 to 8 on a pain scale of 1 to 10 that were lasting 24 to 48 hours and I had them 2 to 4 times per week. 
 
After 2 visits to you where you removed the metals from both my lower quadrants, I have been headache-free for these past 4 months and my sinuses are basically trouble-free.  With severe weather changes I do occasionally have some sinus pressure, but nothing I would classify as pain.  What a relief!!  No more medications, no more missed days of work and no more feeling miserable.  Also, another benefit I have noticed is joint pain which has been diagnosed as arthritis that has gone from daily pain to only having occasional pain with cold damp weather.
 
In closing, I just want to say again how pleased I am with the results of the meticulous work you have done for me and your comittment to the well-being of your patients.  I also want to extend many thanks to your wonderful staff for creating such a calm and soothing atmosphere, which is unlike any other office I have visited, be it dental, medical, chiropractic, etc.  I am so happy to have found New Albany Adult Dentistry.

Dr. Johnson was highly recommended by a friend when researching my options to take care of the serious pain and swelling I was having with my 4 front teeth. They had been injured and I had also lost my left canine (a span of 5 front teeth) in an accident as a young girl about 15 years ago. Dr. Johnson was very kind, optimistic and thorough in showing me my options, cosmetic, health, and budget wise and I decided on the permanent option of dental implants (being 28).

I have really come to appreciate Dr. Johnson's attention to detail and approach of looking at the body as a whole and the healing process. from the first step of removing the teeth and infection, waiting 6 months for the mouth to heal, creating me a very comfortable and nice looking partial to wear during the whole process (which I wore over a year, the first nice smile I had since I was 13) to waiting again 6 months for the bone grafts to heal before he put the implants in, and again waiting for the implants to heal before putting on the final teeth, the whole process being a year and a half time period.

I was very scared and nervous, but after each treatment, I realized how well I was taken care of. From when I walked into the office, to the follow up call by Dr. Johnson that evening. Even with the surprise of expecting a new little baby boy half way through everything. I felt very well taken care of and confident that all the pain and waiting (and the one way, 2 1/2 hour drive to New Albany) was totally worth it.

I also really appreciated his assistant Tiffany's compassion and competance, and Trish was always so upbeat and helpful on even every little question.

It was a huge step for me but the beautiful; and hopefully lifelong result was so worth it that I am SO glad I made this journey with Dr. Johnson and his staff.

My wife had been going to Dr Johnson the best several years and she was has been happy so when I had a tooth that started bothering me, she  convinced me to go and I was glad I did. I had bounced around from dentist to dentist every couple of years until I found New Albany Adult Dentistry. I was glad that they only see  adults and did not cater to children. It was stressful enough for me to go to the dentsit but when you have a screaming child in the next room, it made me more nervous.  When I go in to have my teeth cleaned, it is nice and quiet and it the office smells good. When I leave I am offered a coffee and a apple to go. I look forward to going every 6 months!

I have been seeing Dr Johnson for more than 15 years and he has always treated me with respect.  When I have a question, he answers it and does not make me feel bad for asking.  He has redone all of my dentistry that I had when I was a kid and everything feels and looks great!! My wife made me see Dr Johnson when I broke a tooth and I liked that he was honest about my options and told me what was going to be the best for the long haul.  So I had a crown done that looks exactly like a tooth.  I can chew on it and when I talk, I like how it looks.  I like that the cleaning appointment does not hurt and the hygienist gives me ideas on having fresh breath. I even bought an electric toothbrush and hydrofloss from her and have seen a big difference with the color of my teeth and my breath is better. So now I don't mind going to the dentist.

I love that when I go to Dr.Johnson's office that  I am always greeted by his Staff with a smile on there face and I know they are sincerely happy to see me, I am always taken on time for any appointment that I have ever had.  And at the end of my treatment, I am given a warm lavendar sented towel to freshen up with and when I leave,  they always ask me if I would like a coffee,juice, tea or water to go...Now I say that is customer service!!!!

I have been a patients of Dr Johnson's for about 5 years.  I have always felt comfortable when I see him.  His staff is the best, they always give me a warm blanket to cover up ( I am always cold) and you can tell he is passionate of what he does.  He takes the time to do my fillings the right way and he doesn't rush out of the room when he is finished.  I would recommened anyone that wants to keep their teeth forever and have them done by a perfectionist, to make an appointment with Dr Johnson.
